Classical Guitar for the 21st Century
Traditional - Synth Guitar - Rockin' the nylon string

Russell Ferrara has consistently positioned himself at the creative edge of classical guitar performance. His first album, The Philadelphia Guitar Ensemble, was one of the first, if not the first, of such albums to appear on the scene. His next recorded effort, “Hole In Their Heads” with the group Shadowdancer remains one of the very few albums featuring MIDI [synthesizer] classical guitar performances. All of this undertaken while performing regionally and locally as a traditional classical guitar soloist and accompanist. He is currently at work on a New Age album entitled "Gregorian Meditations on the Mass", the follow up to the first, self titled, contemporary Instrumental album by his group Gray Dog Down.
